| The Strawberry Thanksgiving (Princess Redwing) | |

This month brings one of the five thanksgivings celebrated by the native Americans who helped the Pilgrims. The late Princess Redwing, whom you will hear on this 1981 interview, was a well known storyteller throughout New England. She was also the Squaw Sachem of the Wampanoag Nation -- a position of the highest honor -- and a direct descendent of King Phillip, one of the Wampanoag's great leaders.
